How to fix Wi-Fi connection on Hp envy x360?

My HP envy 360 15-DS1xxx convertible PC suddenly had issues with no wifi.   In device manager, it had a yellow caution and not operating.

and tried the recommendations.

The only thing that worked was updating the BIOS.   I was on bios version F.11 and from HP site, I updated to F.14 (11/14/2023).
I had already updated to Windows 11 over a year ago.  On the HP site, it only shows Window 10 which I selected and Windows 64 Bit.

From microsoft site (just as an fyi):

How to fix Wi-Fi connection on Hp envy x360?

The device does recognise the Wi-Fi but doesn't connect. I have already tried the following;

  1. Ran the Internet Connection Troubleshooter.

  2. Enabled the Wi-Fi Adapter in Network Connections.

  3. Updated the Network Adapter Drivers.

  4. Reinstalled the Network Adapter Device.

  5. Performed a Network Reset.

  6. Reset Network Device and Network Stack Using Command Prompt.

  7. Checked For Windows Updates.

After all of the above, the error message that still persists is ''There might be a problem with the driver for the Wi-Fi adapter''

The systems information is below;

Hi, I'm Robinson, and I’m happy to help you today.

This could be a problem with the driver version. Please attach a screenshot of the device status, driver version, and hardware ids to help to identify what is causing the problem.

1-Right-click on Start then click on Device Manager
2-Click to expand the Network adapters
3-Right-click on the Wifi adapter and click on properties
4-Take a screenshot of the General and Driver tab
5-Click on the Details tab and change the property to "Hardware id"

There is a new version of the driver on the Intel website released on 11/15/2022. The installation of the latest version of the driver should fix this problem. You can download the latest driver at this link.
